In 1985, John graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Industrial Engineering, married Elaine and joined the corporate world. Soon after, he and Elaine began a family. For over 33 years, he worked in operational roles for large and small companies, serving customers, employees and shareholders to realize the best solutions for their needs. Those who know John describe him as an organized problem solver who is motivated by achieving results. During his corporate career, he also served as a handyman for family and friends, and he recently flipped his first house. John felt that Handyman Matters would provide the opportunity to use his experience to serve customers with integrity and quality and be more involved in his local community. As the owner, he enjoys focusing on being a trusted ally for improving people's lives through the work his team performs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering at church and in his community, connecting with friends, boating and fishing.

We are truly blessed to have such a warm-hearted and experienced craftsman working for us. Brett has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry that began working with his Dad many years ago. A well-rounded tradesman, he focuses on simple solutions and stays focused until his jobs are done and our customers are satisfied. His specialty is carpentry, but he is adept in all trades including electrical, plumbing, tiling and mounting TVs and artwork. Our customers love his easy-going attitude and work ethic. When he is not at work, he loves to spend time with his wife at his home in Boerne and hunting and fishing with his family.

Jim is a multi-talented tradesman, but his best asset is his character and professionalism. A former college football player, Jim has the strength and knowledge to complement his skills in multiple trades. When he's not working with us, he spends time in his woodworking shop. Many customers have given us feedback on his skills and competence, and we are blessed to have Jim on our team.
