Paul and his wife, Laura, opened Handyman Matters in April 2014 with the goals of providing the very best service and craftsmanship to residential and commercial customers in central Ohio. Together they have worked hard to grow their business while maintaining their company core values. Paul grew up in Indiana and attended Purdue University where he graduated with a B.S. in horticulture and business. Prior to starting Handyman Matters, Paul was a regional sales manager and researcher for the largest flower breeding company in the world. Having always enjoyed home improvement, Paul felt that a Handyman Matters business would be challenging way to utilize his prior career skillsets while providing a great service to the local communities. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, hiking, biking, and being the family's handyman.
Prior to starting Handyman Matters, Laura had many careers including teaching and coaching. She attended Purdue University and earned a B.A. in History and English and a M.A. in History. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, running, and being active.

Ariane has been with Handyman Matters since 2016. As one of our customer service representatives she takes great pride in the work she does and seeks to make a connection with every customer. Outside of work Ariane enjoys spending time with her young children, working out, and baking.

Rachel has been with Handyman Matters since 2017. As one of our customer service representatives she strives to ensure every customers complete satisfaction. Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, working out, and cooking.
James has been with Handyman Matters since 2017 and is our General Manager. He comes to Handyman Matters with several years' experience in the trades and management experience. He really enjoys trouble shooting and problem solving, and loves doing home improvement projects even in his free time. He was raised in Westerville and very much likes spending time with his two dogs, fishing, and boating.
Mark D has been with Handyman Matters since 2015 and his enthusiasm for his job is contagious! Mark comes from a career in the box industry where he worked in upper management, but he has always desired to work with his hands in the trade's profession. Handyman work has always been a hobby of his and now we are benefiting from his vast experience. Mark is an Army veteran and outside of work enjoys tinkering with experimental aircraft- one in which he built from scratch.
Gene has been with Handyman Matters since 2018. He comes to Handyman Matters with an extensive background in home repairs and remodeling, and is an Army Veteran. He most enjoys remodeling and helping people beautify their homes. Outside of work Gene loves spending time with his wife and two sons and is actively involved in Boy Scouts and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and of course Ohio State football.
Nelson has been with Handyman Matters since March 2018. He has been in the home repair and remodeling business for over 30 years. He most enjoys masonry, and repairing stucco, exterior trim, and drywall. Outside of work, he enjoys watching basketball, especially the NCAA tournament in March
Joe G. has been with Handyman Matters since December 2018. He is an air force veteran and has been in the construction industry for the last 30 years. He most enjoys carpentry and full room remodels. When he isn't working, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and eating ice cream.
Keith has been with Handyman Matters since June 2019. He came with a wealth of knowledge in the trades and has been in the industry for over twenty years. He enjoys all the trades and in particular carpentry and electrical. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, golfing, spending time with his family, volunteering, and is an active member in his church.
Rick began with Handyman Matters in May 2019 and comes to us with over 35 years of experience in the trades industry. His extensive time in the trades has allowed him to gain a wealth of knowledge and most enjoys carpentry project and repair work. When he is not working, Rick most enjoys spending his time fishing, camping, hiking, and going to flea markets.
