Bruce is the man!Drywall and trim We hired Bruce to fix up a room in our house that our dogs destroyed (chewed on the drywall, trim was torn up, baseboards ripped, etc). Not only did he show up right on time, but his work was exceptional, high quality, very friendly and I don’t think he even stopped for a lunch break!!We will be hiring Bruce in the very near future for some work on our new home in Whitby.Thanks again HMM.

He was prompt, professional and explained completely what was included in his quote. He explained the options I had and what I could expect from other companies and how they would quote. He was not the lowest, but the most realistic in quoting. His company did a great job.

Handyman Matters quoted a reasonable price to tear down and re-install the shower in our condominium apartment. They did the job as they said they would, completed on time with no surprises. The workers were efficient, personable, and kept us fully informed about the work progress. They were very good about minimizing the dirt and noise levels in the apartment. The finished shower stall is really good-looking and I’d recommend this company to anyone.

Handyman Matters restored the walls and part of the flooring in my basement that had been removed by another company as part of a waterproofing project, and also made some minor improvements to plumbing fixtures in the laundry area. I found the team handling the work to be competent and professional, and was pleased with the result. They hit the triple crown of home renovation – they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, for the amount they said they were going to do it for.At the same time, they also diagnosed and fixed a plumbing issue that had been causing an occasional leak in my dining room ceiling, and had been a mystery for some time. They completed this job with a minimum of demolition, and took care to preserve detail work on the ceiling.Special thanks to Carrie in the office for making it so pleasant to deal with the company, including help with scheduling and invoicing questions. This is my first home and I am a home repair novice – I am happy to have found on the first try a company that I would use again and recommend to others.

I have had a history of unfortunate experiences with handymen or renovators. Handyman Matters was truly a pleasant and refreshing experience. All my jobs got done correctly and professionally with courteous and professional service. There were no delays here. Yesterday you sent a handyman to work on some repairs around the house. I am pleased to tell you how very pleased my parents were with him, his workmanship and the price. What was once an initial request to repair a leak in our eavestrough turned into two additional jobs. One to fix our kitchen ceiling fan and the other to put up new blinds in my office (for which I am very thankful!). To my parents delight, the handyman was punctual, polite and very easy to get along with. He was professional in the truest sense of the word. Im sure he also patiently listened to my fathers explanations of how his own attempts to fix these things did not pass the bar of my mothers stern approval. On behalf of my parents, and me we would not hesitate to call Handyman Matters any time household repairs are required again. Great Job!

“I found myself needing Handyman Matters a second time in less than a month. This time it was to come and replace the front entry door to the 1st Floor apt in my Mom’s Triplex in downtown Toronto. The front entry apt. door was damaged beyond repair due to a ‘daylight’ break-in which left my female tenant quite nervous. The professionalism, demeanor and expert workmanship was perform quicker than we all expected but most of all I can’t believe how honest and reasonable Handyman Matters $$ for the repairs was. Because it’s my nature I did price it out to 4 different companies and HandyMan Matters still came out to be $110 cheaper. This is the only company I would ever think to call.
