Randy and Sandra McMahon are the husband and wife team who own and operate Handyman Matters South Pittsburgh. The duo opened Handyman Matters in October, 2004 with the goals of providing quality workmanship and top-notch customer service to the South Pittsburgh area. They have worked hard to grow their business and provide quality workmanship, all while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Randy and Sandras unique backgrounds have helped them achieve their goals and work to exceed them for the past 10 plus years. Randy's background includes a degree in Accounting and many years of working in the construction industry. For the first 12 years of his career, he supervised large construction projects, which included managing all phases of the construction and overseeing the financial end as well. Randy then transitioned to working for Farnham and Pfile Rental & Sales. He worked there for 17 years as the Vice President of the Rental and Sales Division. At Farnham and Pfile, he was responsible for purchasing equipment and managing the sales and service of the rental equipment. Sandra's background is in the health-care industry. She received a degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Monongahela Valley Hospital for 23 years. Over the years, she worked in various departments including, the IV team and Employee Health. During that time, Sandras top priority was to provide quality patient care. Her nursing experience taught her many valuable skills that have proven to be helpful in the business world.

Handyman Matters South Pittsburgh is proud to have Tony working for us for over 8 years. Tony has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, ranging from mastering all of the trades (including drywall, carpentry, ceramic tile, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, doors, windows and more) to supervising large construction projects. With his skill set and experience, he has helped us to retain and grow our customer base. He is a valued member of the Handyman Matters team. When Tony is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family- he is a proud Grand pap! He also has a passion for all Pittsburgh sport teams!

Chuck has been working for Handyman Matters South Pittsburgh for over 5 years. His primary skill set is in the area of carpentry. Chucks past experience includes over 10 years of experience installing kitchens and specialty cabinetry. He has a broad knowledge of all the trades, including drywall, tile, plumbing, electrical and more. With his knowledge and skill set, Chuck is continuing to provide excellent customer service. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and outdoor activities.

Pat has been a part of the Handyman Matters South Pittsburgh team for over 3 years. Before joining the Handyman Matters team, Pat owned and operated a door and window installation business for over 17 years. He is an expert in carpentry & also has over 40 years of experience in the various trades including drywall, plumbing, painting, flooring, electrical, ceramic tile, remodeling, Wedi certified for bathroom installations, and more. He is truly our jack of all trades! When he is not working, he enjoys training his award winning dogs with his wife.

David has been a member of the Handyman Matters team since April of 2015. He is a very talented carpenter and has created custom shelving units and decorative displays of trim mouldings for many of our customers. David also specializes in troubleshooting and completing electrical installations. He has over 40 years of experience in all of the trades, including carpentry, custom carpentry, electrical, drywall, plumbing, painting and more. He is truly a multi-skilled Craftsman, and a valued member of the Handyman Matters team. When he is not working, he enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants with his family and friends.

Tammy has been with us for over 3 years, and is an integral part of the Handyman Matters office team. She is responsible for and oversees the entire customer scheduling process. She enjoys communicating with our customers and scheduling their projects. Tammy ensures everything in our office runs smoothly and that our customers are satisfied. With a B.A. in Psychology from Pitt and previous experience as a real estate agent, she is well versed in listening to homeowners needs and has a great deal of knowledge about the homes in our area. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and two college aged sons. Her other interests include reading, vacationing, and having fun!
