They were very upfront with their pricing and communicated very well over the phone. Even before the job started they wanted to know if I could take a picture of the banister and send it in so they could give me a better estimate over the phone because the type of banister mattered which I thought was pretty cool; I had not been asked this before by other contractors. The handyman did a very good job. We had an ongoing problem. We had three other people out and no one was able to solve it. So, the handyman from Handyman Matters of Morristown looked at it and figured out right away what the problem was. Then he fixed it and it was fairly inexpensive. I was happy and the price was less than $200. The price was fine. They were pretty involved and they were there for a few hours. The quality of their work has been good so far. Their responsiveness was good. I am planning on using their services again.

I contacted Handyman Matters because of proximity to my house and reviews on Angie’s list. I submitted a request online and received an email from Judy back right away. She is the definition of customer service -- responsive, knowledgable and very nice. Everything went very smoothly, I got an estimate, schedueld a date and their person (Mario) came out as planned. The work took a few days -- but I was kept informed of the process -- there were no suprises. Unbelievable what a bit of paint and new tile can do the the entrance of your home. I was very pleased with the results and the service. I am asking them back to do my deck in a month or so! Would highly recommned. For those of us who aren’t handy -- they are a God send. I thought the price was fair for the amount of work done.

Especially in this house, where nothing is square or plumb, I know what a challenge it can be to get anything to come out looking right, but he managed to make it look easy. I wish I had half his skills. (Trudy wishes I had half his skills, too.)Mario , again, displayed excellent communications skills. He had no trouble hearing our requests and implementing them perfectly the first time out. Most times, he was able to anticipate what we wanted without us even stating it. (But he always checked to make sure!)Aside from Mario , everyone else that worked on the site was excellent. All courteous and professional. You put together a great team. And special thanks to Fred for coming out at the end of a work day to get our toilet installed a bit early. It made a lot of difference to us, and we appreciate his being available for that. (By the way, let him know that I was able to resolve the factory defect in the tank with “Might Putty”. I laughed when Trudy bought that stuff from the guy that hawks it on TV, but it was actually perfect for fixing a defect in the ceramic tank that resulted in the toilet continuously cycling, and it saved me from having to return and re-install the whole single-piece toilet.)One final thing that impressed Trudy -- everyone cleaned up the work site before leaving each day. Aside from watching the work progress magically from day to day, you couldn’t tell anyone had been here. We’re already considering the next project, since this room came out so great. We won’t consider calling out anyone but you for the next job.
