History

Handyman Matters of South Central PA (Harrisburg) is co-owned and operated by Bob McRedmond and his daughter, Erin Woods. They opened the business together in 2004 with their personal commitment to excel at the Handyman Matters objective of providing quality workmanship encompassed in courteous, compassionate, competent customer service.

Bob came out of retirement to bring the Handyman Matters business model  to South Central Pennsylvania because he realized that the franchise’s commitment to extraordinary customer service matched his own determination to bring that kind of service to the Capital Region. He is an active member of local organizations such as the Palmyra Area Business Association (PABA), the WES Hanovers Business Association, and on the Boards of Directors of the Hershey Partnership/Hershey PA Chamber of Commerce and the Hummelstown Business and Professional Association. He also serves as Judge of Elections for his local voting precinct.

Erin has the same dedication to quality work and unprecedented customer service. She has a background in Interior and Graphic Design and enjoys helping customers redesign or remodel their bathrooms and kitchens, pick new paint colors, or find the hottest new tile. Customers really appreciate her assistance in keeping their projects within budget and helping with materials purchases when needed.
