I am writing to let you know how satisfied we were with the work you did for us. Initially you remodeled our bathroom. We were so satisfied with your work on that project that we didn't hesitate to call you again on our large-scale home project.
Our experience with OTHER contractors:
1. They say they'll be back the next day, you don't see them for two weeks. There wasn't any phone communications and I had to track them down. If they say they'll be there first thing in the morning, that mean't 11am, then lunch and always out by 4pm
2. They hire subcontractors who do horrible work and don't clean up after themselves. I had paint spills not cleaned up, tracked wet drywall mud on carpet, trash and food left all over my house and more.
3. Some of the subcontractors were people I didn't feel comfortable in my home. One was a drug addict who inappropriately asked for money and a ride home!
4. The contractor would ask for additional money than what was agreed on to help pay for supplies and meet payroll, he was paid and it took a long time for him to finish the work (we know better now)
Our Experience with HANDYMAN MATTERS:
1. Very prompt every morning, if they were going to be late picking up supplies, I received a call, sometimes the day before.
2. Having Arlene in their office was a huge benefit to me. I always had someone I could call. She is extremely competent with follow up.
3. I was very impressed with their attention to keeping an area as clean as possible, but especially how they left it at the end of every day.
4. We were impressed with every worker who came to our home and their level of professionalism, and their capablilty as Master Craftsmen.
I would, and have, recommended HANDYMAN MATTERS time and time again.
