Community work is also important to Handyman Matters Galveston County. The Handyman Matters team has donated labor and materials to many local organizations including  Odyssey Academy Charter School,   The Galveston Island Humane Society, Gleanings from the Harvest, the Child Advocacy Center, the Junior League and Holy Family Catholic Church.
