Siding Repair or Replacement
There are many different types of siding that have been used on houses in the Denver Area:
- 4′ x 8′ sheets T-111, or similar

- Lap siding, cedar, pine, fiber cement, fiber board
- Vinyl siding
- Aluminum Siding
Many of the products have been discontinued, and are no longer available, but there are similar products that can be used in their place.
James Hardie, LP and GP have all developed better performing siding and trim products that will be similar, but not exactly the same as the siding on your home. Once painted to match, the differences will not be very noticeable. Replacements for sheet siding, and lap siding are available from several manufacturers.
Cedar siding is a classic, and many of the older profiles are still available. If you have cedar siding, it is best that you stick with cedar siding, the look is timeless.
Vinyl and Aluminum Siding. These products have changed through the years, and many of the early manufacturers are out of business. Many of the colors and profiles have changed, and it is likely that if you siding is more than 10 years old it has faded to a different color. We can usually find a similar color and profile, but it will not be an exact match, it will be noticable that it is different. In this instance you might want to replace the siding on the entire side of the home, so that differences in style, color, texture and profile will not be noticeable.
