What makes us different?

There are many things about Handyman Matters that are unique, or at least different, by the regular standards for our industry.  Here are just a few

• We do not subcontract our labor.  All of our craftsmen are full time employees, dedicated exclusively to our company and your needs
• We are insured and bonded.  While this is something most people would expect, it is an expense many companies, and especially individual handymen, choose not to incur.  This leaves them and you in a very bad position should something go wrong on your job.
• Each craftsman must pass a full criminal background check.  Enough said.  If they don’t pass the background check, they don’t work for us.  We’ve heard it reported that as many as 70% of the folks in the construction industry have some sort of criminal background.  Do you really want one of them in your home?
• We provide a specific appointment time. (And, we show up on time)  Have you ever called for a service appointment with a company and they tell you they’ll be there between 8:00 and noon, or noon and 5:00, or even worse, somewhere between 8:00 and 5:00?  We know your time is valuable, so we provide a specific appointment time, and we show up on time.  And, if the craftsman should be running late, we will call you to let you know.
