Rick and Nancy Atkins started Handyman Matters of Central Kentucky in 2003. They provide Handyman and Home Improvement services to Lexington and the surrounding counties and communities in the Central Kentucky area. Their mission is to provide a service unique and different to this industry. Personal experience and frustration with poor service and shoddy work led them to a Franchisor out of Denver CO with a business model in sync with their own beliefs of what a Home Improvement company should be. Screening and training employees, performing background checks, answering the phone with a live person, respecting customer’s property, offering written guarantees, and guaranteeing 100% satisfaction, were all things that appealed to them both as customers and business owners. And so began Handyman Matters of Central Kentucky.
At Handyman Matters we use our own employees who have clean backgrounds and are skilled with years of experience in all trades. Our Craftsmen and women can solve and repair multiple problems that require multiple skills and are qualified to perform projects from major remodeling to minor maintenance and repair.
